The first film by director Terry Zwigoff (Crumb, Ghost World) is an enormously enjoyable documentary about Howard "Louie Bluie" Armstrong, one of the last surviving members of the black Country Blues "string bands". Great music and hilarious conversation with one of the great raconteurs of all time. Thanks to Criterion for releasing this film that I had previously only seen on VHS.
Disc and packaging accurately advertised and arrived sooner than expected.
