Loved this series growing up as a kid. Glad I was able to find it on DVD. Can't wait till they come out with the rest of the series; as I missed a lot of the last season and looking forward to it. I recommend this series for "Family Nights" and for those who enjoyed this series as kids and want to share it with theirs. It was a great series that dealt with issues during that time but are also prevelant today. Great show and thankful to be able to collect it. Would have liked the theme song to have stayed on each of the series; don';t know why the makers of this DVD were not able to do that; as the theme song was so great, don;t mess with a good thing!

I loved the series when it was on TV, and had been wanting to buy it (I wish I could find more than just the first year, but am thinking that is ALL that has been ever put on DVD) But, anyway, I have watched ever last episode already, and the memories that it brought back!! Even though the DVDS were used, they played with no incident, and I'm very PLEASED with this purchase.

This series brings back lots of memories! I remember enjoying it as a teen, and now seeing it again as a parent of 3 daughters with Down Syndrome, (visit reecesrainbow.org to learn how you can adopt a child with Down syndrome :) it takes on a whole new dimension for me. So interesting relating to the parents nowadays instead of the teens, as I used to! And I think it's great for my kids to see Chris Burke doing such a great job of showing a little of what life is like as a person with Ds. Just a agreat show in so many regards.
This TV series is a great series with good values. It teaches people that anyone with a handicap can still do things on their own and can still love anyone. They still have a heart.
