The legendary Akira Kurosawa and superb Toshiro Mifune team once again for a tense thriller told in the interesting and uniquely Japansese style. Mifune is outstanding as an honorable industrialist forced to wrestle with the value of a human life in exchange for the destruction of his well planned business empire. There are plot surprises and an excellent segment of complex Japanese police work unlike any you have likely seen put on film. This work is not "Seven Samurai" or the "Samuari Trilogy" yet is a worthwhile teaming of two great cimematic talents.
So happy to have this one in my collection. Nothing like watching a Kurosawa on a Sunday morning. Delivered in great time and in excellent condition.
