At our house we always like to have many genres of dvds. I think it's a great value to get both dvds for what you would pay anywhere else for just one. Both of them are good movies to add to any collection. Not only do you get the story of Beauty and the beast but also other adventures and short stories in addition to the movie. I would recommend that anyone should add these to any collection.

This movie is ok, but for Disney i think its a bit of a let down, you have to buy it if you are a beauty and the beast fan, and want all the collection, but its not that good really, you see when beauty and the beast was made, it was 3 hours long, and they knew kids wouldn't like sitting in cinema's for that long so they broke it down and make 3 films out of it, so they added stuff to make it into 3 films rather than just 1 long one, that way they also make loads more money.
It was a pretty cute series of little movies of Belle and the castle people. Kids will love it.

I was a sucker for not reading other reviews before buying this DVD. I thought it was the actual movie. My husband won't even watch it through because he was so disappointed. It is a movie that would be what happened before the beast's spell was broken. Cute if you have children. I am sure that they would love to watch it but for adults (who love Disney movies) just be forwarned, it's not the original, just another story of the characters.
